The Cirrus 670 features the classic NuCamp rear door with a new, built-in trash can. In a new development impacting the entire Cirrus truck camper lineup, the cabinetry is no longer being imported from Italy and is now being constructed entirely by Amish craftsman in Ohio. Unlike earlier Cirrus models, however, the Cirrus 670 will offer a Thetford Cassette Toilet and an innovative wet-bath with a low-profile shower pan and a sliding privacy door that maximizes floor space in the camper.īuilt by the Amish, construction of the Cirrus 670 consists of an all-aluminum frame, laminated and bonded Azdel sidewalls, Dometic dual thermopane windows, and a fiberglass roof. Sporting the same exterior shape and graphics as earlier Cirrus truck camper models, the Cirrus 670 will offer the Alde hydronic heating system that doubles as a water heater and furnace, and the Froli sleep system that maximizes comfort and eliminates mildew forming under the mattress. The camper’s 8-foot 3-inch floorplan will feature a split dinette in front with a full wet-bath and a 3.7 cubic foot refrigerator on the driver side and a full kitchen and a large wardrobe on the passenger side. In spite of its “small” size, the Cirrus 670 has a lot going for it. The Cirrus 670 will be NuCamp’s third truck camper model and smallest, following the popular Cirrus 820 and Cirrus 920 models released in 20 respectively. Touted as NuCamp’s first half-ton capable camper, the Cirrus 670 will feature a dry weight around 1,685 pounds, allowing it to be hauled on some half-ton and most 3/4-ton pickup trucks. After months of development, Ohio-based NuCamp RV unveiled the final prototype of the Cirrus 670 short-bed truck camper at the Florida RV Supershow and reported that the camper is now in production. ![]()
